My First Neutering Experience...

I first heard of the words "neutering" and "spaying" from my friend, Jeree Castillo. She informed me about the advantages of having my cat neutered. That time, I only have Bob.

Ssshhh....be quiet! Bob is sleeping!

Bob was given to us last November 6, 2012, four days after Gray died. And I think maybe because it's a male cat, he loves to explore, maybe looking for females. He was always running on the roof and would mark (urine mark) everywhere....grrrr! But I just let him be. He's a cat anyway.

Then came Pietro.

Pietro was given to us by Alex's friend, Dina,  who sells poultry supplies. She used to breed cats but stopped due to high maintenance cost. So she gave Pietro to us while Pietro's sibling stayed with them.

Born December 2015, Pietro was only 8 months old when he was given to us. I immediately fell in love with him because he is so adorable, so sweet and very affectionate. Initially he was given the name Maymay by her previous owner because she taught it was a "she". We didn't like the name so we changed it to Natasha, from Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow of The Avengers because he is pure black. Later on, my two sons noticed his "balls". So he was renamed "Pietro". Later I will tell  you why he was given that name. I have to ask my sons first.

To make the story short, I called Taguig City Veterinary Office last October 24, 2016 to set an appointment for neutering of Pietro and Bob.  I was scheduled November 24 at 9AM. I wasn't able to bring Bob because he didn't return home so I only brought Pietro.

Since this is my first neutering experience with my pet (as indicated on the title of this post), I was not ready with what I saw. Pietro was shaking to the point that I thought he was dying. I even asked the vet if that is normal and he said that is the effect of anaesthesia. The shaking went on for 30 minutes to 1 hour then afterwards, Pietro became okay though he was still a bit dizzy. He was restless and kept on moving inside his carrier.

Now, he's okay. Jolly as usual.

Licensure Examination for Teachers 2015

Hello everyone!

I am a bit nervous for this coming LET exam on Sunday, September 27. And why not? My son, Jojo, will be taking the exam for the first time.

He is assigned at University of the East, Manila as seen here.

And so, since we will be coming from Taguig and I don't want my son to suffer from stress due to long travel time, I decided that we just rent a room at a hotel nearest UE. When I consulted Mr. Google, the hotel nearest UE is...................tadahhh! ................. Sogo Hotel Recto! Whew! I know! I know! This hotel is a place where lovers usually check-in for some "happy" times. But I have no choice. We will be staying here for one (1) night only - check-in is September 26 and check out the following day. Just to avoid the hassle of being stuck in traffic. 

So there, just because of the LET, I will be experiencing how a motel looks like! Hahahaha!

Seriously, please pray for my son that he will pass the LET exam with flying colors.

I'm Back!

Hello everyone!!!!

It’s been almost two (2) months since we last saw each other, right? Did you miss me? I hope so J Because I missed you. Yeah, I missed everyone. Damn! Why does work always gets in the way!!

Any update? C’mon, tell me! I’m not very updated about the boys’ activities because as I have mentioned, I became busy with office work. Well, I know that they reunited on Kim Kyu Jong’s fanmeeting. And that’s absolutely a good news for all Triple S fans. But the sad news is that Kyu Jong will be entering the military service on Monday, July 23. So our most awaited SS501 comeback concert will have to take a backseat. Because as we all know, all men in Korea are required to enter military service for 2 years. After Kyu Jong, who’s next? We’ll never know. But one thing is for sure…we will surely hold on to their promise that they will be Five Forever As One. Right sisters? Aja! Fighting!

On a lighter note, I am happy to wake up every morning because Hyung Jun is waking me up. Have you heard of his wake up call? If not, click HERE to hear Baby’s voice.

Have you watched Secret Garden? If yes, then I’m sure you are familiar with Gil Ra Im's message alert tone....munja wa shong. I have this on my phone and every time I hear this, it reminds me of Kim Joo Won hahahaha!

On hiatus....

This blog will be on hiatus for a few months...

I am quite busy with office work because one (1) HR staff is on maternity leave and I am temporarily in-charge of her workload.

I will resume blogging as soon as my time permits.

Yes, I miss my blog.

Though I always log in, I never had the chance to post some important happenings in my life, in my family, even the birthday bash that I promised to post monthly...WTH!

Okay, enough of that. To begin with, allow me to refresh my mind on everything that has happened from March up to present, some are good but mostly bad.

March

I consider March as a bad month for me this year. Waeyo? Because Jason was hospitalized from March 6 until March 12, 2012 due to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Stage 1. And of course, I took care of him while in the hospital meaning, I was absent from work for 6 days! Glad I still have my job when I came back hehe.

Oh, and another thing. Alex had a freak bicycle accident last March 31. He was on his way to my mom's house when the fork of his bicycle was cut into half and he fell on the pavement face first. He sustained bruises on his forehead and nose and 3-stitches on his philtrum. During the first few days, he wasn't able to speak and eat properly because there was a big crack on his lower lip which eventually became a mouth sore. But he's okay now. The stitches have been removed, the wound is already healed though it left a small scar, as expected. But the f_ _ _ _ _ g mouth sore is still there! But over all, he's doing well. In fact, he's planning to join the fun bike on April 28 organized by the City of Taguig for the Mutya ng Taguig motorcade.

On a lighter note, my niece was baptized last March 25 at Sagrada Familia Parish Church. I was the one in-charge of the picture-taking although some of the godparents also took pictures.  Because of the baptism, I wasn't able to attend the debut party of my bestfriend, Claire (sorry). I was included on the 18 candles. But since I wasn't able to attend, I wonder if they changed it to 17 candles? Hahahaha, just kidding. Lola, if you happen to read this, don't get mad. (I fondly call her lola XD).

Let me greet first our sexy charisma....Happy Birthday, Park Jung Min! Fighting! Hahaha! How can I forget our boys' birthdays???

April....April...April....not so good month for me. Mainly because we had a reorganization in the office. If before I was only handling Employee Benefits, starting April 1, Employee Services is also mine. Which means all concerns related to employees' service will go through me. What the heck! I have no choice anyway. It's either I accept it or I resign!!! I choose the former obviously since I am still here hahahaha.

Oh my....I think it's already a long post. I will save the rest of my thoughts for the next post.

Food Trip!

Ya!

I tweeted about my meeting at Makati in which I was so irritated. You can read my tweet HERE .

Anyways, when I reached the venue, I realized that it was not really a seminar with many attendees. It was just a meeting with our corporate lawyer, Atty. Pilar Pilares and Atty. Regina Pimentel of  Castillo Laman Tan Law Office, together with Mr. Yukinori Azuma and Tina Cabigan of  Test Solutions Services and I. So it was just the five of us (thank heavens!).

After the meeting, Mr. Azuma treated Tina and I to a sumptuous lunch at Saika Japanese Restaurant located along Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City. I scanned thru the menu and my eyes caught the "gyudon set" which if I'm not mistaken is the favorite if not one of the favorite food of Kyu Jong. So I ordered for it and I'm glad I did!

I wasn't able to finish the whole meal as I am already full :)

BTW, before the day ends,

I wanna greet Kim Kyu Jong a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
