Perez, Quezon (pics & vids)

....as promised, here are some pics and vids of our Perez, Quezon vacation.

This is the boat that brought us to Perez, Quezon. Is this a boat? Or a barge?

a view of the island from the boat....

I took this pic as soon as we arrived. This was taken at the backyard.
Sunset in Quezon. Beautiful, isn't it?

..on our 2nd day, hubby bought this turtle from a fisherman.
It served as my kids' toy for the duration of our stay in Perez

....boating is fun! I didn't join them. I don't know how to swim hehe
(the sunset and this picture were taken on the same spot during hightide)

....and this is lowtide. Still nice. Agree? ^^

Here are some vids. I'll try to explain them one by one.

...obviously, Jason while playing with his toy turtle
(don't mind the conversation, it's nonsense hahahaha)

This is Alex while doing the "nilupak". It's a mixture of cassava, grated coconut, butter and condensed milk. At first I thought it's cassava cake, but it's not. Well, I don't know the name but it tastes really delicious.

....this is my eldest, Jojo, while talking to his friend, Mary Joy.
I just thought of recording his conversation with his (girl)friend.

Well, that's it! I hope you had fun looking at the pics and watching the vids.

PS : Myoce, forgive me if the vids have no eng sub. I am sooooooooooooo lazy!....keke

We're having a great time....

.........here at Perez, Quezon, my hubby's hometown.

Today is our second day and we  plan to stay here until Easter Sunday, will go home on Monday, April 25, rest on the 26th and then back to work the following day, 27th.

I was able to capture some pictures but sadly, the pc assigned to me does not recognize my Nokia phone <grrrrr> . So I'll just post those pictures as soon as I return to Manila.

Those were the days....

These are old pics. I just want to walk down memory lane so I'm posting them here.

......when "she" was still with us....

(click on the pics to enlarge)

...the "she" I mentioned here is our former HRD Manager. Her name is Lhiza Flores but we call her 'mother'. Her family migrated to Australia last June 6, 2008 but we never lost communication. She is still the same Lhiza that we know, very accommodating, answers all our queries when it comes to HR matters. The same "mother" that we used to know. Sadly, she passed away last year, February 10, 2010 to be exact. But she will always be remembered by her HR family no matter where she goes. One thing I will never forget about her is that she never fails to greet me on my birthday with matching gift. God bless her soul.

.....crazy pics of crazy people!...hahahaha!

(click on the pics to enlarge)

......these pics were taken at the lobby area. I think it was Rhuvee's last day so we decided to have a photoshoot with her. Prior to that, she (and together with all of us) was treated to a sumptuous lunch by LCM (4th pic, standing).

I miss everyone!

Thank God It's.....Wednesday????

Why the title?

Because my youngest son, Jason, had fever last Sunday. I brought him to his pedia at MPI-MCM (Medical Center Muntinlupa.

Initial diagnosis was Upper Respiratory Infection but I was told that if fever persists until Wedneday, which is today, I should bring him to the hospital again and have his blood tested for, guess what?....DENGUE!!

Oh my! It can't be dengue! I prayed and prayed hard that it's not dengue. My eldest son had dengue wayback 2005 and it was a very traumatic experience for my son as well as for me. Imagine, the blood extraction being done hourly???

Luckily, as soon as we reached home after his check-up, his fever was gone. God is really good! Now, he is back to his usual self. ^_^

Now, we're looking forward to our Holy Week vacation in my husband's hometown....PEREZ, QUEZON!... Vacation starts on April 18 which is Holy Monday and we will stay there until morning of April 26th. Do I look excited? Of course not! Hahaha!

PS :  Thanks to his very accommodating pediatrician, Dr. Jea Halum. And special thanks to Ms. Toni and Sir Chris of Responsive Health & Insurance Brokers for the help. You rock!

This is the start of the graduation march.

.....while receiving his diploma. He was 2nd to the last.

....after the ceremony, while singing their graduation song, AT THE BEGINNING (which, incidentally, is also the song sung by some TSPH members at the fanvid given to Kyu Jong and Young Saeng during their fanmeeting here)

There! Again, sorry for the quality of the video. ^_^

Graduation is over!....

It is the happiest and perhaps, the loneliest time in the life of a highschool student. Leaving your friends after being with them for four years, it surely hurts, right?

But then again, with the evolution of technology nowadays, keeping in touch with your friends is no longer a thing of the past. There's Facebook, which I think is the most, if not one of the most popular. Twitter should not be taken for granted. There's Plurk, Friendster, etc, etc.

Now, why am I saying these? Because yesterday was my son's graduation from highchool. And just like any other highschool graduations, it is always the end of the ceremony that is the hardest part. You can see tears in every graduates' eyes. I must  admit, I cried with them. Friends saying goodbye to one another, teachers saying their thank you's to their students and vice-versa. Ah, I don't want to reminisce anymore. Let's just look at the pictures which I took yesterday. Sorry for the quality of the pics. Maybe because of the lightings inside the auditorium.

Here is the pic of the stage before the ceremony:

More pictures......

The men in my life : my husband, Alex, eldest son, Jojo and youngest, Jason

Jojo and Jason after the ceremony

Now, don't ask me whether she is his girlfriend because I don't know either....^_^

(My son told me that her name is Cheche and she is his twin sister. Why twin sister? Because he was born May 17, 1995, 12:05 AM. She was born May 17, 1995, 12:30 AM. Only 25 minutes apart. Imagine that? I didn't know I have a daughter! Thank you, Jojo, for finding your twin sister...LOL!)

Time for group pictures....

The cute lady in the middle (wearing black) is their class adviser,
Ms. Wilhelmina R. Cejas

Congratulations to my son, Jojo, on your graduation  in highschool. I hope that you will strive more because college life is much tougher than highschool life.

Likewise, congratulations to IV-Aristotle!...May your friendship remain forever!...Fighting!...

PS : Don't you notice? I don't even have a single picture with my son. Grrrr!
